Royal College of Dentists of Canada

The mission of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada is to maintain the high standards of practice of the recognized dental specialties by examining qualified candidates for admission to Fellowship in the College and by working with stakeholders to establish standards for dental specialty education, practice and certification.

The American Association of Orthodontists

The purposes of the American Association of Orthodontists are to advance the art and science of orthodontics; to encourage and sponsor research; to strive for and maintain the highest standards of excellence in orthodontic education and practice; and to make significant contributions to the health of the public.

American Board of Orthodontics

Founded in 1929 as the first specialty board in dentistry, the American Board of Orthodontics is the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontics. The primary purpose of the ABO is to elevate the level of orthodontic care for the public by encouraging excellence in clinical practice and specialty education.
